The P4 Mission to New Zealand

The P4 Mission that took 18 Chilean companies to New Zealand in November was an amazing trip for all involved. It was an intense mission - by the end of the week we had held 3 seminars, 153 business meetings had been made between the Chilean companies and NZ counterparts, and the mission members had taken part in the ceremony that hosted the Chilean President Michelle Bachelet and importantly had culminated in the signing of the Strategic Alliance between NZTE & CORFO.

This strategic alliance signed by sets out the intention and understanding of NZTE & CORFO for collaborative work. NZTE has the vision that by 2010 a significant number of NZ businesses will have effectively engaged in South America through participation and ownership of value chains in the region.

By collaborating NZTE & CORFO expect to utilize each others programs for the mutual benefit of their businesses and to promote the economic development of both nations.
